Photo 1: Windy Previl, Haiti

There's a guy standing next to the "Question mark Point" asking himself What can I do? Then we see volunteers doing different things: Some are cooking (food kitchen), some are cleaning, some are planting flowers and cutting the grass to protect them, there's a girl who is painting, we see young people providing tutorial (or mentoring others), and also volunteers helping in health care. All those remind me my volunteer service in America and back home in Haiti. At least, I add some piece of sentence that tell the motivation, passion and commitment for volunteer activities. Enjoy :)

Photo 2: Dasha Nepochatova, Ukraine"Overcoming Obstacles Together"

Sports and art festival Stars are accessible in Zakarpattia Region (Ukraine). The people who took part in the event were people with disabilities from various regions, representatives of non-governmental organizations that work in the sphere of disabled rehabilitation. The ascent of Polonyna Runa was overcoming not only a mountain, but also stereotypes that physically disabled people cannot lead a usual lifestyle. Without the help of volunteers, it would be impossible to hold such a large-scale event. In the photo, the volunteers help a person in a wheelchair to overcome obstacles. Date and place of photography: 8 July 2011, camp at the foot of the mountain Polonyna Runa, Perechynskyi District, Zakarpattia Region (Ukraine).

Photo 3: Bernard Gomez, The Gambia

What can I do? That was the question this young man in the picture asked himself during the May 7th International Day of Service. He helped clean two blocks of unused housing at the SOS Youth Village to help put a smile on the faces of the children using it, that is what volunteers do.

We can all be agents of change in our own little way and that is what "we can do"!! Vote for this picture!!
